Alyssa is the screenplay writer, director, actress as well as one of the executive producers for LAUGHING AT THE MOON.   She is the president of COUNTERACT PICTURES.    She is also a song writer, musician, and playwright.  Alyssa grew up in Southern California.  She has been the drama director at several churches.  She has acted in several Hollywood films and television, the most recent one before Laughing at the Moon, was filmed in North Carolina.  She has written, acted and directed numerous stage plays in California, as well as in several other states including owning her own theatre.  She attended Biola University in California then later graduated Cum Laude from UGA in Social Work Counseling, with a minor in drama. She studied film in high school and college.   She has been a principle in several businesses.

She currently teaches an acting class/workshop and directs.

Her passion is to make films that go beyond entertainment and transform people’s lives.  Thereby doing what she loves and sharing Christ with them at the same time.  Her favorite role in life is being with her family.  Her motto is to jump, breathe and make a dent in the world for the kingdom of God!

Erin Bethea plays the role of Natalie McClay. Erin was the lead actress in the award-winning movie Fireproof, opposite Kirk Cameron. FIREPROOF a Sherwood Pictures Film, broke many records at the box office.  Erin is an actress who has been in many films and a sought after speaker. She has worked as an entertainer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. and as a promoter of films in Southern California. She now has her own production company in Southern California.  She is excited to be a part of a faith based film that is a dramedy with strong women characters.

Jennifer has a B.A. in Theater. She has worked with the Tennessee Shakespeare Company as

well as other theatres. She has taught and worked with children and directed many drama

programs. She currently is the children’s program leader at her church.

Eric with his laid back, down to earth, easy going ways is a natural to play motorcycle artist,

Jake. He has stage acting experience and has taken courses on film acting. He has dreamed

of reaching people with the message of Christ through making faith base films and now he is

realizing that dream. He owns his own construction business but would love to make movies

full time. He loves being a husband and a father. He wants to make many more films and he

prays and hopes that LAUGHING AT THE MOON will touch many people with the love of God

and bring hope to their lives.

Fred began his ministry in Kentucky while finishing his education.  Feeling led of the Lord, He moved with his new bride Joan to Atlanta, Georgia where he was called to pastor.  Later he established a new ministry in Lawrenceville, Georgia now known as Tabernacle International Church.  Fred also traveled setting up meetings throughout the United States for Morris Cerullo for four years.  He continues to pastor, mentor and counsel at Tabernacle International Church.

The Mussers have four children and nine grandchildren, all of whom are involved in the ministry of Tabernacle International Church. His son Fritz is the Senior Pastor there.

Through the years they have had a special ministry to families and  to ministers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, and Nicaragua.

Fred played the lead or supporting actor in plays in high school and competed statewide in Humorous Declamation for three years.  He was an End-Man in a "Showboat" musical and sang "Ole' Man River. Fred majored in speech in college and was the "Villain" in a "Melodrama" and did  skits and Standup comedy.  His experience as a Pastor for over 60 years has gained him respected wisdom.  His interest in "Laughing at the Moon" is in that line of thought. He is honored to be a part of a positive type family movie that he hopes will encourage others to have more confidence in themselves and go on with their lives to peace, happiness and success.

David is a Computer Network Engineer by trade but has performed in many singing groups and

has acted in various plays throughout his life including musicals like the Atlanta Passion Play,

and has had some minor roles in a couple of movies. David holds a BS Degree in Computer

Science and a Masters of Business Administration. David has used his MBA to develop a

subdivision in North Carolina, and to create and run several businesses in all functions of

business (e.g. marketing, accounting, finance, law, etc.) including being a web master. David is

an avid hiking expert who has hiked the entire Appalachian Trail. He is one of the executive

producers as well as serving as producer for LAUGHING AT THE MOON. He especially

enjoyed doing the scene driving the Porsche and running through the parade. Serving God in

this way has been an amazing experience for him. He also loves being a family man.

Heather White (Hillary) has experience as a commercial spokesperson and model, but makes

her acting debut in Laughing at the Moon. She and her husband Adam own Personal Auto

Locator Service in Knoxville, TN and have 2 wonderful children, Tanner(who also has a role in

the film) and Emma. Heather really enjoyed her time filming Laughing at the Moon. The cast

and crew made it a fun and memorable experience. She hopes that the movie inspires others

to reach out to serve those less fortunate and to realize the life-changing importance of a

relationship with Christ.

Mac Watts is a single father of three beautiful children, Noah, Ava and Ethan. He is a fitness

equipment sales rep and in his spare time enjoys video production and audio engineering. Mac

was the host of Bloodstream TV which aired on the Christian Television Network and has been a

big part of the performing arts ministry at his home church.
